Oh, so many are crying for the Government to provide us with Health care.
Along with Government Provided Health Care will come many amenities we most likely will not want. For instance, the Government will decide if we receive certain health care treatments such as Chemo or other Cancer treatments. They will also decide who has lived long enough and who would be a burden on the Health care system. How would they be able to do this? Simple, who do you think is going to pay for this Health Care? Why, the taxpayers of course! yes, just like Medicaid is being used now! Many treatment options are not available even to children! With the Government Health care system they could deprive treatments further! It would not be fair to the taxpayers to pay for expensive medical options !
Even now many people feel Medicaid is a burden when the taxpayers pay for illegal immigrants, Elders, children, and those who became addicts or homeless.
Then there is always the argument that we become a socialist country when the working class has to pay for the lower class who do not work.
Forcing people to pay for their own insurance is not an answer either , look at what happened with Obama care. We need to fins a way to make health care affordable. Perhaps they should start by regulating costs of Health care. After all seventeen dollars for a band aid is really ridiculous! Perhaps if we took the greed factor out of the AMA for starters it would make a difference. I say this because most, not all but , most of the time Doctors are guessing at our ailments and many times they prescribe medications according to the kick backs they get from the pharmaceutical companies. I know that is going to cause some hollering and hooting, but I have always said I don't sugar coat anything! Don't believe this? check out how many doctors have an increase of patients with a particular diagnosis when a new Drug reaches the market for a particular illness! Do some research, find out how you are being treated like guinea pigs and sheeple.
In fact why do we trust a doctor's word so blindly? Have we been trained to do so? ask questions, use your head !
Instead of wanting the Government to be in charge of whether you breath or not, let's stop and think about all of this. Let's take responsibility for our own lives.
